| A Colorado River expedition through the geologic depths of Grand Canyon is an adventure of a lifetime, its magic is unimaginable from the rim! The plentiful side canyons and hikes are wide-ranging, ending in narrow gorges, laughing waterfalls and pools, incomprehensible vistas, ancient Indian ruins and mysterious grottos. There are over 150 rapids in its 277-miles, ranging from friendly riffles to wild maelstroms; however, the majority of river is tranquil, where one blissfully floats along, soaking up experiences. Modern raft trips provide safe transportation, comfortable camping, and delicious meals through one of the most remote regions in North America. The types of people, rafting the Grand Canyon, range from wide-eyed youngsters to adventurous oldsters. These journeys can be transformative and through shared experience, strangers often become friends for life. Trips have different type rafts, lengths and starting/ending points. |
