A great time to run this section of river is in the heat of summer. Summer usually offers good water levels and warm water. During the rainy season swollen side streams have been known to double the flow of this section.

Families with young children as well as first- time rafters will find this stretch of the Klamath a made to order river adventure. There are plenty of small to medium rapids to make this a fun-filled river trip. As you shoot the rapids the infectious laughter of the children along with their shouts for joy will even make the adults feel like a kid again. Between the rapids there is plenty of time for young and old alike to take a refreshing swim in the cool refreshing water, engage in water fights with other rafters or just sit back, relax and soak up the warm summer sun letting your cares drift away. So if you are looking for that fun, one of a kind family rafting adventure check out the Middle Klamath River.
