Chamberlain Falls on the North Fork of the American River, Dec 12, 2005

We had a fun day on the Chamberlain Falls section of the North Fork of the American River. We hit it perfectly in May when the river wasn't too high but still very exciting. The narrow canyon made some great rapids. Our guide was good at getting us down the river. Although I fell out, I don't blame him. It was exciting to be in the water. I was glad to be back in though. The North Fork of the American is close to Sacramento and makes for a nice quick excursion. |
