If you are ready to step-up from class 3 or 4, to class 4 or 5 this is
the place to be. Only three companies have permits on this river so
that means there is a good chance you will not see any other
boaters. There are 5 different sections to raft from Sierra City to
Bullards bar. The most popular being the "maytag" section. The
North Fork of the Yuba river is most often run by Tributary
Whitewater Tours from near by Grass Valley. |
