 Ohiopyle, PA is a small community in the Laurel Highland Mountains of southwestern Pennsylvania located about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. The name Ohiopyle is thought to have been derived from a native American Indian word "ohiopehhla" meaning white frothy water.
