| This is a great trip that starts out mellow and very scenic. There is wildlife everywhere, the water is so clear that you see fish swimming below you. There are many places to stop for picnics and enjoy the peace and quiet. We have rafted many rivers in many states and this is the most peaceful river I have seen. Once we hit the Meadow Creek campground things started to speed up. This amazing change from the river up above was incredible to the stretch we were in below the campground. From the campground down was white knuckle rafting. We were totally amazed at the endless white water. There was never a break from the campground down. Amazingly enough there is a local shuttle service called True North Expeditions that took us back to the campground so we could get another shot from the campground down. The second trip of the day was even better we were ready and knew what to expect and what not to miss!! This is an amazing day on the river and almost 30 miles of rafting. |
