Eureka California Rafting

Eureka, situated along the spectacular Northern California coastline 280 miles north of San Francisco and 300 miles northwest of San Francisco, is the county seat of Humboldt County.  The city is bordered on by beautiful and functional Humboldt Bay, the largest protected deep-water port between San Francisco Bay and Puget Sound.  On the other side of Eureka are mountains lush with giant redwoods which offer a reminder of the areas rich logging heritage.

 A variety of cultural opportunities are available in Eureka, including active artisan, arts, and theater groups. Outdoor recreation is abundant with activities such as boating, sport fishing, kayaking, hunting, birding and backpacking all available close by.  Eureka is a popular destination for visitors due to its proximity too many exceptional natural resources. These include the spectacular coast of the Pacific Ocean, Humboldt Bay, and several rivers as well as the Redwood National Park and Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
