Eagle is classic Adirondack Gnar! Seriously, this is a super-fun, beautiful, short, intimidating class V run. If you have a chance to go to the Beaver, don't miss Mosier and Eagle. Eagle put-in starts with a 35' near-vertical S-shaped dam or fish slide (depending on level). Narrow run-out with a few good sized holes, followed by a 20' rock slide that pillows off of the right-hand wall most of the way down. Some quick water with small eddies lead into a big (25') intimidating slide with holes at top and bottom, followed by a short pool and another big 15' slide/boofy drop. Next up is a boney run-in to a 8' boof. All this in less than 1/4 mile! Bring your video camera!
