 Cascade, home to approximately 1,000 permanent residents. We are nestled in the majestic mountains of Southwestern Idaho, 75 miles north of Boise on Highway 55 at an elevation of 4800 feet. The community is a recreational haven offering year-round activities from boating and golf, to skiing and snowmobiling. The lake in Cascade is one of the top largest lakes in Idaho and there are over 250 smaller lakes and streams in the county.
Cascade has a number of lodging options including vacation home rentals, local and backcountry motels and one of Idaho's finest hotels which opened in 2003. Shop all 7 distinctive gift shops, enjoy a nice meal in a variety of restaurants, catch a movie in our beautifully restored theatre, or stroll down Main Street at night and enjoy the lights.
There are over 400 miles of snowmobile trails, 250 miles which are groomed in the Cascade area. All of these trails connect to trail systems in McCall or Garden Valley. |
