A group of friends and I did this trip last April 2009. We found it to be challenging and definitely worth the trip. Most of the rapids on this run are Class II-III and require good boat control. The water can be turbulent in numerous places throughout.
We refuse to stay at campgrounds and found a quaint and quiet location near our river entry point in Deer Lodge called Cabin At The Lodge. www.cabinatthelodge.com
All and all this is one of our favorite trips we take numerous times throughout the year. You gotta try it for yourself! |
