Great River durring moderate (normal) flows. Easy class II for rafts, kayaks, or canoes. Starts with a long boat carry downhill from Six Mile Gap into easy wilderness water with plenty of marked camped sites. Lots of big rocks with swirling rapids, plenty of room to turn a long canoe. No real rapids that need scouting if you know how to read the river. Great fishing, lots of wildlife and beautiful vistas. A+ trip! Note pickaroon access is 4 wheel drive
