All Adventures Rafting, located in the Columbia River Gorge on the banks of the beautiful White Salmon River, offers rafting trips for All Ages, All Abilities, All People on rivers in Washington and Oregon. Our goal is to make this an accessible adventure for everyone regardless of ability, skills, or financial situation. Explore our website for details on the rivers we love, our values as a community, and our commitment to making the trip about you and your needs.
Just over an hour east of Portland, the White Salmon River begins its journey from the frozen glaciers on Mt. Adams where it seeps into the porous ground of the sleeping volcano, and enters the river through dozens of springs lining the basalt walls of the White Salmon gorge.
Your adventure begins with a hike that takes you 200-vertical feet down into the gorge. You instantly feel the temperature drop, and the sound of rushing water takes over as you near the glacial waters. Your first views of the White Salmon River get your heart pumping as you witness one of the most exciting put-ins in Washington. Once you reach the rivers edge and have one last briefing, the action starts with a plunge down Top-Drop, a 5-foot ledge. The next four miles you’ll be deep in the gorge with continuous whitewater, until reaching Husum Falls, an optional Class V waterfall (water-level dependent). After Husum there are still 4 miles to go. The river begins to leave the gorge walls, and wildlife and sunshine begin to show themselves.
All Adventures Rafting is committed to small trip sizes to maintain a sense of a true wild and scenic experience. Smaller trips decrease our impact on the environment, help maintain the remote feel of the White Salmon gorge, and allow for an overall more personal and adaptable experience. We don’t want to be the biggest, just the best! Trips are limited to 25 people, special exceptions can be made for larger groups.
