Bearpaw River Expeditions is pleased to announce that we have exciting white-water rafting trips available on one of North-Central Idaho's most beautiful and spirited rivers, the Lochsa River.
The Lochsa is a completely free-flowing, wild and scenic river that bounces down a steep granite canyon surrounded by a lush cedar and fir forest. With over 40 rapids in our 21 mile "day run", many of them class IV, every trip down the river is an exciting challenge. Our fully licensed and certified expert guides will lead your paddle boat down the river. When you hear your guide shout, "paddle forward!" you know that all the excitement and beauty of the Lochsa River is waiting just a few paddle strokes downstream.
We are an "all inclusive" outfitter - this means that we will provide our guests with everything that they need to have a safe and enjoyable trip... How to Make a Reservation
- Pick a trip date then call our office at 406.543.0988,
888.412.3900 or e-mail jdubb@bearpawexpeditions.com.
We will check the availability of your trip date and add your trip
to the schedule.
- Send your deposit. We will keep you on the schedule for as long
as two weeks while we wait for your deposit.
- When your deposit is received, we will send you a confirmation
packet that includes directions to our meeting spot, a guest data
sheet for you to fill out, a packing list, an acknowledgement of risk
form, and an invoice.
- Send in the remaining balance before one week of your launch date.
- Show up ready for some fun!
Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 1/2 the trip cost is required to hold your trip reservation. Final trip balance due one week before your launch date. Prices do not include 6% Idaho Sales Tax.
Deposits are non-refundable. If cancellations are made prior to 30 days of the trip date, monies will be refunded less the deposit. If cancellations are made after the 30-day mark, we will refund your balance as soon as we are able to fill your spot. If we are not able to do so, we will not be able to refund your balance.
In the rare case of a trip cancellation made by Bearpaw River Expeditions, due to extreme river or weather conditions, a full refund will be made of all money that you have paid to us.
