Colorado Wilderness Rides & Guides in Boulder, Colorado

Our whitewater rafting trips range from beginner trips suitable for families to wild and exciting class IV or V rapids. The Clear Creek and Upper Colorado Rivers are easy to access for day trips out of Boulder, Denver, and the surrounding areas. To give you an idea of the adventures we offer, I've included a brief description of our beginner and intermediate Clear Creek tours below.  If you are an experienced whitewater rafter, I will be happy to discuss the more advanced trips.

Clear Creek Whitewater Rafting

Beginner Rafting Tour (Half Day): For younger and inexperienced paddlers, this section serves up eleven fun-filled rapids as the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting!  Float past a historic waterwheel, drop over Castle Falls, paddle though Mountain Lion, and then hold on tight for Mr. Twister. The minimum age for participants is seven years old, and you can expect the tour to last approximately two and a half hours.

Intermediate Rafting Tour (Half Day): This exciting stretch of the river is Clear Creek’s most popular trip! Continuous class III and IV rapids will thrill guests throughout the run. Surge over Nomad, power through the Phoenix Holes, and then take on the class IV climax: the Outer Limits. The minimum age for rafters is fifteen years old, and you can expect to spend three to three and a half hours on this intermediate white water rafting tour.
