Magic Falls Rafting Company is celebrating its 20th season on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers. As safety is of the utmost importance to owner Dave Neddeau, he personally guides trips almost every day of the season. Along with whitewater rafting trips, Magic Falls offers inflatable kayak trips, rock climbing and a unique and affordable camping trip that includes rafting, fun yaking, a hike to Moxe Falls, Maine's highest, and a wildlife safari in search of moose. Dinner of lobster, steak or chicken is served over the open campfire. Accommodations consist of the ADA compliant Dead River Lodge, a campground with camping sites and cabin tents, and the River's Inn, restored farmhouse, for groups of up to 16. Magic Falls base facility offers the only outdoor climbing wall in The Forks area. Magic Falls provides the best whitewater vacation value for the budget conscious traveler.
