Magic Falls Rafting Company is Maine's fun, safety-conscious, valued-priced rafting outfitters on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers in Maine. As safety is of the utmost importance to owner Dave Neddeau, he personally guides trips almost every day of the season. Along with whitewater rafting trips, Magic Falls offers inflatable kayak trips and rock climbing. Each rafting trip includes a delicious BBQ with choices of chicken, steak, baked haddock or vegetarian burger. For groups staying overnight, Magic Falls offers lobster dinner, spaghetti supper and pizza parties (book in advance). Accommodations consist of the ADA compliant Dead River Lodge, a campground with camping sites and cabin tents, and the River's Inn, a restored farmhouse, for groups of up to 16. Magic Falls base facility offers the only outdoor climbing wall in The Forks area and float tubes to float down the Dead River.
Magic Falls specializes in youth groups and has kept its youth group price low at $54 since its founding. A new trip is the Magic Rivers Multi-Gorge Adventure which features two runs of the Class 3-5 upper gorge of the Kennebec River paddling a 13 ft. sport boat for the maximum in thrills. Magic Falls provides the best whitewater vacation value for the budget conscious traveler.

Magic Falls Rafting Company General Policies
Kennebec River trips for ages 10 and up.
Ask about lower river trips for children ages 7-9 or our family float trips for groups of 12 or more.
Dead River trips for ages 12 and up.
Two-day wilderness overnighter for either adult (over 21 years old) or family groups.
Fun yak on the lower Kennebec River for ages 10 and up.
Rock climbing or climbing wall for ages 10 and up.
A user fee of $5 per person for the Kennebec and $11 per person for the Dead will be assessed to cover road access and Maine IF&W access levies. |

Cancellation/Reservation Policies |
|
A 50% non refundable deposit due at the time of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to trip. If cancelled 30 or more days before trip, the deposit will not be refunded. Transferable with 30 days written notice.
Bring 15 other rafters (must be booked and deposit paid by group leader), and receive a free trip and a free 8 x 12 photo. |
