Welcome to Momentum River Expeditions!
We offer world-class whitewater rafting in Oregon, Northern California, and in select destinations abroad. The area is a playground of natural wonders, rich with cultural events, and overflowing with amazing whitewater.
Guide-owned & operated we are a small company, allowing us to focus our energy, resources, and passion for guiding into every trip we run. Our trips are small with unparalleled personal service and are lead by some of the finest guides anywhere. Guides who have run some of the most difficult and beautiful rivers in the world, who love to share these places with others, and who are friendly and warm hearted.
We offer trips ranging from mild to heart-pounding; most are off the beaten path, and all offer incredible whitewater and scenery. Our rivers include the Upper and Lower Klamath, the California Salmon, and Chili's Futaleufu. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced paddler, here in our backyard or abroad, we hope you join us for a rafting trip like no other!

Momentum River Expeditions General Policies
Reservations
We recommend making reservations as early as possible, although spaces can be available up to the last minute so don't hesitate to check with us. Because we are a small company we only have two trips going at the same time. The earlier you have an idea of your plans, the better chance we have of offering the exact trip you want. We can also make a tentative reservation if you need us to hold a date while you gather a group together.
Groups, Charters, & Custom Trips
Whitewater river trips are a great way to spend time with a group of friends, co-workers, or family members. There is nothing like adventure, relaxation, and a wonderful setting to emphasize teamwork, and strengthen relationships. We can make putting together a group trip easy with our group organizer packet. Give us a call for info and assistance.

Cancellation/Reservation Policies |

Deposits and Payments
- For half-day and one-day trips, a $50 per person deposit is required. Full payment is due 14 days prior to trip departure.
- For trips of two or more days, a $100 per person deposit is required. Full payment is due 21 days prior to trip departure.
Cancellation Policy
The quality of our Northern California and Oregon rafting trips is very important to us; that's why we limit the number of people we can take on each trip. When we reserve a trip for you, we are holding space on that trip and possibly turning others away. Also, due to our small trip sizes, your participation can be very important. Therefore, we have the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations received prior to the final payment date are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the deposit amount.
- No refunds will be made after the final payment date unless we are able to refill the space.
