Our Season ended Sunday May 11th 2008, Mother's Day. The Upper Salt River only runs in the Spring after a big winter of snow in the White Mountains. The whitewater is now up north in Colorado and our sister company Independent Whitewater is running trips just two hours southwest of Denver on the Arkansas river. Visit them at http://www.independentrafting.com/
For more information about the Salt River visit our website www.RaftTheSalt.com or call us at 800 425 5253.
Salt River Rafting brings you the best Whitewater Rafting in the White Mountains of Northeastern Arizona. Located just 2 1/2 hours from Phoenix and 3 hours from Tucson in the Tonto National Forest and on the White Mountain Apache Tribe's ancestral lands lies Arizona's "other Grand Canyon." Undeveloped, unspoiled and mostly unvisited, the 2000' deep Upper Salt River is the only commercially run class III and IV whitewater in the Sonoran Desert of the United States. Saguaros, sun, scenery and splashes are guaranteed with every trip. |
